I personally don’t believe Obama would do much to enforce stricter laws and military enforcement on the border. Half of his administration is pro-illegal immigrant. Pelosi is skipping around telling groups of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families in San Francisco that “enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is ‘un-American.’”
To the Democrats...
Obama recently appointed Ceclia Munoz to head the president’s executive office of inter-governmental affairs. Her previous job was the senior vice president of the National Council of La Raza, an organization that favors amnesty for illegal immigrants. It is reported that
“she has filed numerous suits to keep state and local police from enforcing immigration law, supports giving drivers licenses to illegals, and wants to require states to offer in-state college tuition rates for illegals. Munoz herself has accused advocates of strict border enforcement of “hatred” and of being ‘xenophobic.’”
More recently, the Feds have began investigating Sheriff Joseph Arpaio of Arizona after local groups filed complaints, claiming that the Sheriff is violating the civil rights of illegal aliens by, arresting them for being illegal. Isn’t that what he’s supposed to do?

A solution proposed by President Obama and Sec. Clinton is to“reduce the demand for drugs. We’ve got to do our part in reducing the flow of cash and guns south.” In other words, the proposed enforcement would reduce funds towards to fight the drug cartels, especially with guns. So, how exactly are we going to secure the border, Obama and Clinton? Should we have people waiting at the border to negotiate?
The LA Times reported:
“Most of these weapons are being smuggled from Central American countries or by sea, eluding U.S. and Mexican monitors who are focused on the smuggling of semiauto- matic and conventional weapons purchased from dealers in the U.S. border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.”
Preventing the flow of guns to the Southern U.S. border is not going to reduce violence. The U.S. is not the only outlet for smuggling guns. Criminals are going to break laws no matter what. We need to militarize our borders.
Many Republicans have claimed the enforcement laws “would be siphoned from already-stretched efforts to crack down on drug trafficking and illegal immigrants in the American heartland. Some also saw a hidden agenda for gun control legislation.” Rep. Lamar Smith told the Politico that “The administration appears to be using border violence as an excuse to reduce interior enforcement of our immigration laws and [to] enact gun restrictions.”
